Hey there!

My name is Kaitlyn and I’m so glad you stopped by!

After becoming a wife to an amazing husband and a mama to two adorable girls, I quickly realized my desire to become a homemaker. Cooking became a hobby and baking became a passion. Keeping my family healthy and my home clean became natural goals of mine. I now enjoy long walks around Aldi, creating meal plans for each week, and trying any and all coffee I can find!

Through this blog, I plan to share my joys of homemaking, musings of motherhood, and lifestyle tips with you!

Flutterby Kisses may seem like a random name, but I promise it has a meaning that is sweet as can be. You see, my grandparents are the inspiration behind the name. My Papa always called butterflies “flutterbies”. He would often give all the grandchildren butterfly kisses on the cheek. My Meemaw, who held a special place in my heart, was the epitome of a homemaker. She was gentle to all, funny and endearing, and the best cook around. I have her to thank for passing recipes down to my mom who then taught them to me.

Every time I work on or think of Flutterby Kisses, I think of my grandparents. And those memories are oh so sweet. I hope this blog encourages you the way my grandparents encouraged me!
